About the training
La formation de prothésiste dentaire est un métier artisanal et technique de haute précision, essentiel au domaine de la santé bucco-dentaire. Elle prépare à la conception, à la fabrication et à la réparation de prothèses dentaires sur mesure (couronnes, bridges, dentiers, appareils orthodontiques) à partir des empreintes fournies par les dentistes.
La formation est principalement dispensée sous la forme d'un apprentissage dual Ce modèle combine un enseignement théorique approfondi en école professionnelle avec une immersion pratique intensive au sein d'un laboratoire dentaire.
La durée standard de cet apprentissage est de 3 ans et demi. Un avantage majeur et très significatif de cette formation est qu'elle est rémunérée dès la première année. Les apprentis perçoivent un salaire progressif tout au long de leur parcours, ce qui non seulement soutient leur indépendance financière, mais leur permet également d'acquérir une expérience professionnelle précieuse tout en étant rémunérés pour leur travail et leur apprentissage.
