The partner
IIK Deutschland (Institut für Internationale Kommunikation Deutschland e.V.) is a non-profit continuing-education institute specialising in German as a foreign language, preparation for higher education and professional German — including programmes dedicated to healthcare occupations (doctors, nursing staff) and integration courses.
With more than 30 years of experience, two locations in Germany (Berlin and Düsseldorf) and solid expertise in blended learning and e-learning, IIK works with the DAAD, the Federal Office of Administration, the Federal Office for Languages and several foreign universities.
In the Campus Germany | Austria journey, IIK Deutschland takes over once the candidate arrives in Germany: support with settling in and continued professional or academic German on site, complementing the initial preparation received at the DZK.

Rates in effect since 01.10.2025, provided directly by IIK Deutschland. "UE" stands for a teaching unit (Unterrichtseinheit, ~45 minutes), the standard billing unit of German language institutes. Rates may change — confirm with IIK at the time of enrolment.

Continuing education for German-language teachers
In addition to the offering above, IIK also provides continuing education for teachers of German as a foreign language.
BAMF supplementary qualification
The mandatory supplementary qualification for job-related language courses (Berufssprachkurse).
Teacher training — 1 week
Intensive workshops on current teaching methods: methodology training, e-learning and blended learning.
Teacher training — 2 weeks
Two combined weeks of training, at a favourable rate for the same quality.
Language refresher + further training
An intensive language refresher followed by teaching training, at a preferential combined rate.
Short courses
Short modules on the challenges and opportunities of hybrid teaching.
